5 Minute Meditation for Your Body and Mind

In this 5-Minute Meditation, you will be encouraged to appreciate things in your life. If you have a healthy, serene mind, it shows in your perception of the world.

Before we begin, I invite you to sit up straight and comfortably.

And close your eyes gently whenever you’re ready.

Inhale deeply and Exhale thru your mouth.

Inhale. Exhale.

Observe your breath as it glides In and Out slowly.

Once more, a little slower and deeper this time:

Take a deep breath In and Exhale.

Allow your body and mind to relax in their natural state.

Continue to take slow, deep, and gentle breaths.

As you immerse yourself deeper and deeper in the present moment.

Allow the gentle movement of your breath to lead you to a state of even greater relaxation.

Feel the sensations of calm spreading throughout your entire body and say it to yourself;

As I dwell in the confidence that all is good, I affirm and encourage the force and genesis of life.

I shall find optimistic thoughts in the midst of adversity.

I'm at peace with my past, working towards a goal, and appreciating each moment of my present life.

I've been blessed with excellent physical health.

I will always show my body the respect, attention, and love it deserves.

Observe your breath as it glides in and out slowly.

Go deep inside yourself to that point of serenity and love.

You may notice a sensation of spaciousness developing within you.

Observe how relaxed you are and the emergence of pure consciousness when you let go.

As we approach to conclude this practice, let’s take one last deep breath and begin to roll your shoulders, wiggle your toes and fingers as you Exhale.


Inhale. Exhale.


And then open your eyes to the world around you when you're ready.
